SiliconPV 2016 - Chambery

Nines will be represented with a poster with Fraunhofer ISE.

SiliconPV 2016, the 6thInternational Conference on Silicon Photovoltaics, will focus on advanced technologies, materials and concepts for crystalline silicon solar cells and modules.

Nines PV will be represented with a poster (C-04) with Fraunhofer ISE, entitled:

Plasma Free Dry-chemical Texturing Process for High Efficiency Multicrystalline Silicon Solar Cells
B. Kafle, Fraunhofer ISE
Bishal Kafle will be available at the poster session on Monday at 13:00.

In this paper, we study the influence of modifying the geometry of nanotexture on its electrical properties. Nanotexture is formed by an industrially feasible dry-chemical etching process performed entirely in atmospheric pressure conditions and a surface modification process is developed. We show that by tailoring the nanotextured surface and by improving the emitter diffusion process, it is possible to reach excellent passivation level by using either PECVD or ALD deposition techniques.
